Oates Value

Just wondering what Adam Oates value is to the Flyers? I'm not for a minute thinking we are going to get the same kind of package that the Capitals got but with Comrie traded, Roenick out, I would think they would want someone like Oates?

Face off in their end?

Just joking, unfortunatly Adam's timing with the Oilers was not good. He made some major contributions though, like teaching Stoll the finer points of faceoffs.....

My guess would be future considerations... and If he performs half decent those futures would probably amount to a mid-draft pick for the Oil.

Zholtok was traded for futures and I don't remember what we ended up getting.

Oates

WELL according to wat he's done... i dun care wat he's worth... jus trade him and save our money... sorry.... even watching him at the games he's not been very effective... it seems like we jus wasted watever we're goin to pay him.... i would jus trade him for a minor leaguer with some potential. <MAYBE>

7th rounder, which turned into Jean-Francois Dufort.

I believe that the Zholtok deal was on his performance during the next season and we ended up getting a 7th rd pick he would look better then that pick with the Oilers at this time.
