man ...when you lay it out like that, it sounds like crap.
not having bots is a good thing tho ....everything else sucks.
i guess they are trying to make it more casual friendly? seems it.
Well I've been giving Blizzard a lot of feedback for awhile and will continue to do so about this game since I've been playing since I was 11.
I still have a lot of hope for the game but a lot of things need to be refined and sadly gameplay is still one of them. I never thought the day would happen when I'd think of not buying the next Diablo but its like they're making the next Torchlight.
Its a fun RPG don't get me wrong but the things that made D2 popular was Battle.net(2.0 is ****) and not PVP but PKing.
I'm just glad there is still going to be hardcore mode.
But seriously no Ladder? SERIOUSLY?

The differences between D2 and D3 will be the one of the best examples of the philosophical shift that has happened within the industry over the course of the years between their releases.

Make the casual gamers happy = $$$$$$$$$$$$.
The issue is they really didn't have to leave out half this **** and it wouldn't effect the game for casuals in general.
Yeah well.. I'm gonna do my best out of the situation..

The game is incredible. I don't know why there's so much bad mouthing around this game. I love it.
I have no luck when it comes to betatesting.. I have alla blizzard games and still never gets an invitation. Two years ago when SC2 was in beta several of my friends who never even played any blizzard games before got beta keys, some of them even two keys .. in the end I did get one from them though
No luck for me this time either, then again release is in 1 month.. I'm sure I can make it until then
Butthard content will start way before the inferno difficulty. I'd say by Act 3 or 4 of Nightmare, you'll start dying quite a lot. And if you're hardcore, well good luck buddy.
This game will be very hard, I don't know why people assume this game is going to be easy. Normal difficulty is for the casuals, the other 3 difficulty levels are for gamers who like a challenge.
Blizzard's motto has always been: "easy to learn, hard to master". I don't see why Diablo 3 would be any different.
How can you be so sure? It's not like Nightmare/Hell in Diablo 2 was difficult, unless you were playing gimped on purpose.

What do you mean "playing gimped on purpose"? If that's playing the game without being rushed through or not having one of those must-have builds found on the internet, then yes, I was playing gimped. And nightmare/hell was pretty tough.
There won't be an easy way out with D3. No overpowered builds (hopefully), no powerleveling. It's going to be just as hard as what D2 should have been.
On a side not, I finished the beta for the fifth time yesterday. I had tons of fun with all of the classes, but some were more enjoyable than others to me. Here's my ranking:

No. The hostile system was terrible. Not implementing Ladder was stupid, though.
