csports.se got both live and archived games but unfortunately SEL can only be seen in Europe from there. Unless you can find a hole in via proxy.. U can watch our soccer league there wherever in the world you are tho
Otherwise I guess the only way is an illegal stream somewhere on the inet.
The official SEL site will have highlights of all the games.
The clips will have Swedish commentary, though.
However, they do have an English language version of the site, so you might be able find some additional information there.
Obviously, it's a stripped-down version of the Swedish site, and they won't be translating everything.
You could always try reading the Swedish site through Google Translate if you're not satisfied with the English version.
So I'm guessing there's no way to watch tomorrow's HV71 game in the states. As for the official SEL site, how long after the game is over do they put up highlights of the game? Thanks
I just came across this when reading the Gothenburg newspaper online.
Yeah, those kind of live reports can be found on practically every local newspaper's site (if there's an SEL team in the area).
And on other sites like Hockeysverige and SvenskaFans.
There's also the official Swedish Ice Hockey Association's site, which doesn't have any subjective Swedish commentary - only goals, penalties etc.
What's cool though, is that you can follow junior and lower-tier games live here as well.
And then there's the official SEL site, which a bit more detailed and includes shots on goals as they happen.
Lastly, for those who know a bit of Swedish, or like to pretend they do, SR (Swedish Public Radio) does broadcast all SEL games live.
Just pick and choose which one you want (links can be found on the right hand side of the page on game nights).
I can't tell you how many videos I've come across that hasbeen inaccessible with a "Video is only viewable within the US" sign. This is the future for the corporate owned Internet sadly. Just wait, this will be implemented for the written word eventually.
An IP adress- soon to bee your nationality, race and religion.
I live in Canada. How can I watch Elitserien here?
Legally you cant because you are only ably to buy ppw within Europe. Illegally you should be able to do that the same way you look at NHL games illegally.
I'm thinking of getting Csports streaming for Elitserien. Is anyone using it. Is the quality good, do you get any lag, fps drops etc. The reason I'm looking at getting it via the web is that Canal+ sport and säsongskortet together is like 330kr per month or more. That is a bit much I think. Or do you know of a package to get it cheaper? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.
Ok quality. No lag at all or fps drops if you have a decent connection. I don't really get why you're thinking of changing though. The price is higher and quality is lower.
According to Csports web it costs 2000 SEK per year to follow my favourite team. If I get the regular Canalplus I have to pay 229*12+199*6 = 3942 which is double the price. I'm not sure it's worth it. Maybe I will try one game and see if it's up to par. I might connect my laptop to the TV and see if it's decent but from what I can tell the streams is only 1200k.
