meh we all know that if you give 2 weeks notice you can get out of any russian contract... if Dubie gets a decent offer he will be back in the NHL next season... all this does IMO is tells NHL teams I will get 'x' amount from this club so to get me i need 'y' amount and need to play 'z' number of games

Yes, it was to happen in RSL but now there is a new league (KHL) and there is no such restriction.

Yes. But terms of Dubie's contracts are not disclosed yet. I doubt Ak Bars would sign him if they were not sure he stays there for 2 years

From what I've been noticing with the euro signings in the last year or so is that the Russian teams aren't including NHL out-clauses very often, if at all, anymore.

Does make sense though considering the money they're willing to pay and the product they're trying to build.

I thought Snow said they had "lost confidence" in Dubi, but Nolan disagreed.
