You know, as happy as I am about this trade, my heart goes out to you guys.....years before the Predators existed and I was a kid, I was a Blackhawks fan. I learned to play hockey when I was living south of Chicago. And watching what's happening to the team these days makes me ill.

With Sullivan being traded, who do you guys think will get the callup?? Radulov, Vorobiev, Yakubov??
Why is this deal so bad? How long were we going to keep Sully for anyway? Now at least we know they are going to hand the team to the young leaders of this team like Bell and Calder. Now that we have 3 picks in the second round we should be able to put a pick with Zhamnov and land the defencemen that we were trying to get. Hopefully there will be a couple more trades this week.

I'd like to see Zhamnov traded as soon as possible now and bring up both Vorobiev and Yakubov. Vorobiev has been scoring consistantly for Norfolk, and Yakubov never should have been sent down when he was.

Nichol
They wouldn't bring back much. 5th rounder at best.
And ofcourse Zhamnov.
I doubt Daze would be moved. But then again i never thought Sullivan would be traded either.
Strudwick I could see but more as a d-man though. I don't know about the other 2. For some reason I have a feeling they may be looking to trade Berard. I know he's only signed through the end of the year but he's starting to play well and will want more then the 2 million he's playing for.
He'll be an rfa but with a lockout possible,who knows?
I'd be completey pissed in the preds traded scott walker for 2 second round picks, so I know how you feel. However, if Sullivan was going to be a free agent after this season and they couldn't settle on an exentension, then you just got 2 second round picks when you might have gotten nothing. Maybe that's easy for me to say as a pred fan, but now with the CBA coming up and $3 million salary freed up, then you could land someone big.
I know it sucks for you guys, but sully looks like a nice fit here. Guys, just convert to preds fans. It's only 8 hours from chicago to nashville, the weather is nice, the people are friendly, and the owner/GM aren't jackasses. My fiance is from chitown and I instantly converted her from a hawks fa to a preds fan. Anyway, good luck guys.
