If

Schremp and Eberle pan out like Nilsson has ... our team will be a Cup contender in about two years. We will be a lot like Buffalo 05-06.

Developing them is of huge importance.

So for obvious reasons I keep a close eye on these two the most.

If we can successfully develop these two guys, the talent level of our team becomes scary and catapults to an elite level.

Nash - liked the "safe pick" at the time because I thought he make a good 3rd liner according to scout reports, but he's exceeded all expectations.
..
..
..
Petry - only negative: he was an older NCAA rookie/freshman.
...
..
Eberle
Schremp
Chorney
Hrabal

Yeah, Im really interested in this kid too. Hes has great size for a defenceman.(6'4 225ish)

Eberle and Nash are gonna be +60 point guys for awhile in the NHL.

I hope RS finally makes it because I really feel Eberle will challenge for a spot on the team when hes 19 years old, I really feel he wont play in the AHL. Yes he is that good.
Our last kids to make team canada at the age of 18 were the likes of Cogs and Gags.

Thinking back to when Schremp was drafted, we were so desperate for a highly skilled center. We've come a very long way in the last few years.

I only get to go on what I read, since I never see any of these guys play...

Schremp
Eberle
Peckham
Chorny
Plant
Petry

And someone said before, if most of our team stays intact and shremp, eberle work out... we could very well be the sabres of 06... A 4 line attack would be beauty.

Schremp-make or break year with the Oil I would think
Nash- have read nothing but good things about him
Eberle-I want to check out the new car smell
Dubnyk- Do we a future starter in the Dub?
Jfj-I dont have a clue why but for some reason I still think he may turn out to be a player. Maybe not here but a player none the less.

I think really think schremp is gonna challenge for a roster spot, nash in my opinion could become a more skilled horcoff in the future.

So true.

I was really surprised by how many people are still hangin in there with RS. There are a few people who just love ragging on the kid and half way through the season a lot of people are scared to admit they still have high hopes for him.

I've always thought he'd be able to run an nhl pp but it's looking like it won't be here.

As far as Pouliot is concerned I think he's gotta be a graduated prospect by now, I wasn't really considering him but if I was I'd have included him. This is surely the season where he proves his nhl worth, one way or the other. He's been healthy for a long stretch now and had plenty of game time.

This is the year that Schremp makes the team or is sent away in a package. I can see him headed to the A out of training camp to give Lowe time to work a deal or two but this camp is the final decision time for him from this franchise imo.

I saw him a little at the end of the year. He looked good and the numbers back it up. He is talented and has size. Nice combination.

What surprised me is how strong he is despite being a string bean. When he adds mass and muscle, he will be a guy that is very strong on his skates and along the wall. Add that to his impressive skill set and you have one heck of a potential NHLer. Add in a guy like Vande Velde who also has size, strength and skill, and they could for 2/3's of a solid kid line in a few years.
