Great move by Dr. Burke to get rid of that awful contract! What a GM! The league's best!

... oh wait.

I generally don't like to take pleasure in the misery and failure of others, but with Bertuzzi I'll make an exception.

The Avs should pick him up so we can boo him more often.

That's not even funny. We just recently got the Brad May stink off of us.

Great move, it was so hard in London to root for the Ducks, feeling better now

Remember the first Denver Nucks game after the incident? It was Halloween and half the people at Pepsi Center had dressed up as criminals/jailbreakers and Berty Boy was just booed unremorselessly every time he touched the puck. I remember he kept getting breakaways or scoring chances but Aebischer kept stoning him and the crowd went nuts every time. It was a good day to be an Avs fan

I'm kind of hoping he goes to Montreal or Toronto. Nothing against those teams, but it would be hilarious seeing Knuckledrag McSuckerpunch have to contend with the obsessive media in either of those cities.

"il est ce qui est il"

Of course this means yet another batch of revisionist history and another fanbase proffering up excuses about his behavior.

That game was awesome. Wasn't it the one Lappy won in OT, too?

I was at that game. Hilarious stuff.

I hope nobody picks him up off waivers.

Put him and Parker in the locker room alone and turn the lights off!

That was the next game. It was one of those oddball situations where the Avs played the same divisional opponent at home twice in a row. I was at that second game, the booing was relentless and Lappy scored the winner in OT on a breakaway. Good times.

No it was definitely Lappy. The only breakaway goal from Laaksonen that I can remember was his shootout goal against New Jersey in that epic shootout where Kolesnik beat Brodeur.
