I'd take it as a Wild fan. We'd have zero offense, but need another solid defenseman. Probably won't be many Bolt fans happy with it though.

Bouchard isn't a 3rd line center

Exactly.

Melrose wants to try playing 6 forwards at all times. No goalie, pure scoring, he's going to get hockey back on ESPN... maybe ESPN2... maybe next year?

If he were to be traded might be an option as it would mean Tampa dont have to push Stamkos straight into a 2nd line role and Halpern may not be back as his injury was pretty serious.

We'd trade Boyle, but not for Bouchard.

They do actually they need one more top 6 forward whereas on the other hand they have 10 defensemen fighting for the 7 available positions, so I wouldnt be surprised if they traded away a dman today, but Boyle wouldnt be my first guess as to who gets traded.

They might have 10 defensemen. But how many do they have who can play defense?

Boyle can't play much defense, so that's one down

Plenty, just none that people are willing to admit even exist because they play in Tampa.
