The All "I hate You" Flames Team

On the Islanders board,

they're doing a reverse All-Star team of all-time hated Islanders at each position.

Obviously, you Flames fans have had players that you have hated at some point.

I'm sure you can come up with a team of players you Habs fan couldn't stand.

Also, feel free to include a coach and GM you could not stand.

Bryan Marchment and Chris Drury come to mind immediately, for me. Although I wouldn't go as far as to say I "hated" them, but they were two of my most disliked players to suit up for the Flames.

I always wondered why they didn't keep Drury.

He could have proven crucial on a fateful night in June 2004.

We did get Warrener in that trade. He proved crucial that whole run.

No mention of Eriksson yet. I'm surprised.

Trevor Kidd, Jeff Frieson, Jason Wiemer, Jeff Shantz, Cale Hulse and many more from the young guns era.

Jason Wiemer, Valeri Bure, Phil Housley... Pretty much anyone that came from the no playoffs era.

Housley actually played a key role on Calgary's 1995 Pacific Division winners.

He had 9 assists in the San Jose series.

IMO, if they get past the Sharks, he could have had 25-30 points!

Oh, and trading him to the Devils- BAD IDEA!

The "All Hate" Calgary Flames team can never be complete without the deadbeat draft picks that were suppose to be so promising

Rico Fata
Daniel Tkazcuk

I understand the Fata pick, but not the Tkazcuk one. I understand he was taken high but he suffered a concussion early on in his career and that's what did him in. It's not like he pulled a Fata and was never good in the first place and outright busted.

doug risebrough... as gm (not player). it's painful to bring up, but let's face it, that trade with the leafs started the decline of the team into the dark ages of the 90s.
