It would certainly be nice to be set with him before july 1st so we have a better idea of how much money we have to offer UFA and also avoid the always possible offer sheet.

That makes sense, since RFAs are free to negotiate with other teams next week. I'd expect that the Habs get Andrei under contract before then.

Perezhogin should be traded to the Boston Red Sox... he's pretty good when swinging the bat.

"I will be patient. I was patient for 3 yrs in Hamilton, now the Habs need to be patient with me"

"I want to play here, and i will say no to the KHL if they call me"

Habs and him cannot agree for the price and length.

Risky move if he goes to July 1st because someone could offer him a sheet.

Kost was named best player in his country this year.

That's about it.

Thanks for the translation...If the Habs are able to get Sundin, everyone will want to stay, and maybe take a little less to do so...

- Andrei doesn't want to play in Russia
- He want to wait to get the contract a want (the money and the duration)
__________________________________

- Sundin wants 14M$/2 years (the same contract the Leafs offered to him)
- He wants a non-trade clause
