Uhhh don't they still have Khabibulin? That's like $12m in 2 goalies.

But I hope Huet takes it if it's true because I don't want to see him on the Sens.

Bulin 2.0. This is not good. Can't play 60 games a year.

If we can pick up something for Khabby, I'd be all over this.

this scares me... Khabby will put up allstar numbers again this season to warrant another big contract signing next offseason...

Hawks need to spend the money on Hossa NOT Huet...

'Bulin to Ottawa? Or perhaps just to a team looking to reach the cap floor, Los Angeles maybe?

No one. They'd have to buy him out. Or stash him in the minors.

$6.75M for one year isn't hard to absorb at all, especially if Chicago sweetens the deal a bit. There are quite a few teams that need to reach the cap floor and this could be one way to do so.

Well if this is true I think Huet is going to take it. Chicago could certainly make a use of his services.

Huet just signed in Chicago, according to TSN. Presumably at $5.6m/yr.

And ya know, the whole Khabby is still a starting goaltender in this league bit.

Khabiulin will definitely be traded now, probably for a veteran forward.

Glad to see Huet in Chicago and not Ottawa!
