Well he won't be along for the ride with a sick center for a Cup in this place.

There goes his chance at another Cup. I thought he was all about winning another one.

Good signing though.

I am not even close to being able to take this in..

I think they should suspend the talks with any team or free agent until tomorrow so we can all let the Finger signing sink in..

Good for Stillman, hopefully he can find some more success in Florida..

Isn't it 6 times a year now?

Stillman is a fool. Clearly he doesn't care about a cup. Could have had a great situation in Ottawa. Good riddance Cory, enjoy the sun and the losses in Florida.

Yeah because the Sens were just inches away from snagging the Cup last year.

Theres something good for Panther fans. It was depressing reading all the negatives from their fans after all the fleecing that was going on. Makes me a lil less guilty now. If he can produce well down there, he can become valuable again to a Cup contender and bring in some good assets to Fla.

We'll see how they rebound this year. Any way you slice it, it's a better chance than the Panthers have (ever).

Yeah. But Stillman didn't sign with us, so what relevance does that have?

Realistically, the Panthers lost 6 points (in 3 less games) with the difference between Jokinen and Stillman based on last years production and in doing so seriously bolstered their defense.

Let me just claim now that in no way am I claiming that Stillman is almost as good as Jokinen, I'm just talking about production here. Let me also claim that I am not saying we got good value for Jokinen either.

Stillman is a nice complementary player but I doubt he will do much for Florida with the players he will play with.

Jokinen can lead a offense but Stillman can't do it himself. Plus, Stillman got a lot of help from Carolina forwards.

I think his defensive game is why he always gets 'underpaid'. Sure he can hang numbers and every team needs those guys. But he's a huge liability in other areas and I think that's why teams don't jump to give him the big bucks.
