I think could be good as Boucher and Zubie are getting on-this is a team built on d-I assume they really are not excited about any winger given the cost some of these guys are going for so achance to get atop 20 d-man may be abetter value. I also think they are higher on Neal they are letting on . His production when healthy is unreal check the last 25 games in Iowa and Sawada also may be undersold as a fourth liner. That would leave one spot and they may think either Pushkarev or Fabian will be close enough to an aging Satan or Demitra or a Ryder coming off 2 poor seasons. Getting Redden would allow them alot of options at the deadline with Bouch who only makes 2.5 per . Having Fistric staying in the AHl until the break is fine
I'd rather not get Redden and move boucher and get a forward. Or move boucher for a pick/prospect and sign a forward
I am not sure that they are totally comfortable with going with all three young guys

especially considering the fact both these guys can quarter-back a power play, and robidas is the type of skating defenceman that everyone wants right now
If Dallas does sign Redden then they will really have to work some magic to fit him under their self-imposed 52-53 mill cap. I have a hard time seeing this as a possibility (Dallas already has one of the best / deepest D-Cores in the league, we really don't need another PP QB).

They had great chemistry as line mates in MTL. Ribs maturity issues were more about his environment.
