New Lines with Sullivan (RW)

Does this mean Hall is gonna be pushed back to 4th line duties when he gets back?...and Toots *he's good at drawing penalties* a healthy scratch/Milwaukee bound?

Andreas Johansson - David Legwand - Scott Walker
Scott Hartnell - Greg Johnson - Steve Sullivan
Martin Erat - Denis Arkhipov - Vladimir Orszagh
Jim McKenzie/Jordin Tootoo - Jason Morgan/Wyatt Smith - Adam Hall/Jordin Tootoo

It would be ar eally undersized line but I'd like to see Erat and Sullivan together once or twice. You couldn't do it all the time, they'd get man handled but they'd be fun to watch with the puck

The forgotten man in all of this.. Jeremy Stevenson.

I think, Stevenson and Morgan will be gone

I like those lines....I am sure Trotz will juggle Sully a lot at first to see if something clicks. I would like to see him wing Leggy to maybe jump start him.

Key thing is it should help a PP that has been inept.

it sounds to me that one of the things that interested the Preds the most about Sully is that he's versatile, and can play all three forward positions.

I can't wait to see what he does for our PP. we've never had a dangerous finisher, and he added a new dimension...so that we don't have to hope for something from the point.

by the way...

does anyone know the site where you can make the jersey avatars? jonesey...i'm looking your way. i'd love to make a sully avatar, for a while

nice avatar NMK. I'd say everyone should sport one, but you see what happened when we all sported TV avatars.

Those are some talented and gritty lines, I think down the line they'll probably work Hall into the lineup, he's got a decent amount of experience and would fit well on the fourth line going into the ... latter part of the season

The Tennessean said probably either Smith or Morgan would be going to Milwaukee, assuming they clear waivers first. It didn’t say which one but just one of the two.

I am headed to the game later today and really don't care what line he is on! LOL!! I just want hime to score tonight and help the PP out dramatically. We can figure out the hard stuff later, lets just get back into 8th-6th place.

I would say Morgan will go. Smith has three goals in his stint here in Nashville.

I'm really torn. I like smith but morgan has lots of hustle and I've been pretty impressed with him. It's a shame one has to go. Do they both have to clear waivers if they're sent down? I'd say either would be picked up in a heartbeat.

^Yes I believe they do for 48 hours. It is a shame, but you look at Morgan and he has only played 6 games for us, and Wyatt has been playing the past few and producing some decent numbers for himself. I like both kids, but in this case like you said...one has to go.

How about PP lines? What do you think where sullivan will play. He was at point in Chicago, but Preds have Zid at that place. The first PP unit has been Hartnell-Johansson-Walker, Zidi-Timonen lately. Should that be broken? I think Sullivan is going to strenghten the second pp unit with Legwand and make it also a threat.

I say Sully points the second PP unit

Our defensemen are fine on the point, it's our forwards down low that need the help.

I'd rather see him work on the half wall like Ronning. I am really looking forward to seeing what Trotz does tonight with the lines.

It's going to take him more than a game to gel with the new players.

I'm not a big fan of the half-wall PP. I like the basic 2 D-man setup and pass between the two, setting up a shot from either of them with traffic on net. If their D-men pinch on ours, we hit a forward on the half-wall then to hopefully set up a shot in the slot. Sullivan could be out there with Legwand and Hartnell, Zids and Timonen. Arkhipov - Walker - Johansson on the second line with Hammer and York.

I think the PP-lines were good... 5 pp-goals against Sharks, who had the NHL best penalty-kill-% before this game.

1.pp-unit
Hartnell-Walker-Sullivan
Zidlicky-Timonen

2.pp-unit
Erat-Johansson-Hall
Hamhuis-York/Zidlicky

I wonder why Legwand was taken out from the power-play?
