Well, ironically a lot of the posts I have made about Hossa not signing in EDM because of Winter is because Bob said so himself once on the air. It's only been lately that Bob has been trying to defend Winter - maybe he's just tired of reading all the negativity towards Winter on this board... because before that Bob was singing a very different tune .

Google search says that happened in 1987. In 1987, NES interested me a lot more than politics.

And still does, in some ways...

That's like a four letter word in my parents house.

I posted this in the thread announcing Pitkanen's trade:

Turns out this was the only thing that I got right in this whole free agent tornado. It makes more sense now, including the Visnovsky deal.

I have also changed my mind on the Pitkanen deal hearing this confirmed and hearing Cole's comments about being excited to play in a hockey-first market. I did not see him signing long-term, but now I am much more confident.

In terms of being able to make that tape to tape pass right to a player in stride, Nilsson is probably the best.

Hemsky is actually more of a dangler type of player.

The Team will be playing MacTavish's comments again soon.

The Nilsson 'passing skills' comment came from MacT musing about the progression of the 'kid line'. Something like... Will Gagner/Cogliano develop...? Will Nilsson be a first line player?

That didnt surprise me at all, it was evident in his play.. and I mentioned that how many times now.
