I hope he gets the opportunity to backup DiPietro..god knows he's payed his dues even though his play has suffered in recent seasons. Great guy too , bye Yann

He probably will, Isles didn't re-sign Dooby, so maybe we'll see some Dannis action

He deserves a shot in the NHL, he was certainly stuck in Montreal.

negate that, i think it's just a minor league deal, Joey Macdonald looks like their backup...

Good luck to Yann on getting some playing time out there, he didn't stand much of a chance getting it here.

Does that mean Wade Dubielewicz's days are over?

If so, then... Gainey

What's the Hamilton situation? Dejardins starting? Lacasse backing up? FA signing?

Nice guy, hopes he gets his shot in the NHL. Who knows what could happen if Dipietro falls down to an injury during the season? It might be the break he was looking for!

Yes, he signed with AK Bars Kazan in the KHL.

Danis was given a 2-way contract by us. Joey MacDonald has a 1-way contract for us next year, likely making him fill the role of backup. Danis will most likely start in Bridgeport.

You'd think he would have went somewhere to be an NHL backup. I'm sure that would have been possible somewhere in the NHL. He probably could have been the starter in Colorado, or Tampa Bay, for that matter...

Is this some kind of "Where's Chipchura?" or "Was Gorges captain at Kelowna?" joke?
