Yeah, I guess he thought his NHL options ran out too as far as trades go. He had some chances.

Yup, plus with our depth at forward, he wasn't going to get a spot on the NHL squad.

This Kid has a great future in the NHL, too bad he left, could have really made it big if he just stayed and worked more on his skating.

No he doesn't. He could make it if he wanted to play defense and work hard, but he was never going to be a star. Ken Hitchcock was high on him, so I'm surprised Columbus never came calling, but Ruzicka probably got paid.

This is the second guy we've lost to the KHL this summer.

He went to Riga, not Moscow.

agreed...I personally never liked him as a player. I don't know how else to put it but he really just seemed like a jackass priss.

Each KHL team is supposed to recruit players who were in the NHL last season. Hossa and Ruzicka helps them fulfil those requirements.

Not each.))))))

Hossa and Ruzicka are good players for Europe for sure. However I was pretty sure, Marcel Hossa will leave NA, there have been a big invasion of young talent in NHL, they need ice-time, so soon, players like Hossa will go to Europe(not only to KHL btw).

I have a feeling the KHL will be a refuge for all the players who can't perform in the NHL like Marcel Hossa.

Damn KHL, at the rate they're going we're going to have to watch young players man the 4th lines instead of barely NHL capable veterans. They've upset the natural balance of things. To quote Roman Moroni, "This is fargin war!"
