I really think that we might make one more trade. I think that Prucha, Dawes, or Cally are gone. Prucha is most likely b/c a) he makes the most b) has the most value and c) Renney just doesn't seem to like him as much.
although BB brought up a good point that Fritsche might not get resigned and he was just thrown in to relieve a little more cap space. We technically don't really need him.

But cally hits better, plays better defense, can PK, is a better skater, and better puck possesion and is also cheaper.
so Cally is more important to this team than Prucha. Especially since we have korps, ani, cherry, etc in the wings. Cally will eventually probably fall down to 4th line where he would probably be one of the best fourth liners in hockey. he just brings a lot more versatility than prucha who is completely one dimensional.
prucha will get traded. hopefully im wrong because, you can admit it everyone loves Petr Pru!
it's weird b/c every time somebody thinks that Prucha will get a shot, we get somebody who makes him expendable once again.
honestly i think Pruchs is overrated on these boards, but hopefully he gets traded and thrives somewhere else (i don't want him to fail) b/c right now he is eating valuable cap space on this team and once again doesn't fit in really and is blocking other youths.
torn acl... probably won't be back until november or december. wasn't ready to come up at the end of last season... definately hurts his progress and w/ the signings and draft it looks like he might have just lost any chance w/ the NYR's.
Sauer was up and down last season, and the injury will likely set him back further.

Don't think he's lost his chance. He's more of a shutdown defenseman than anyone else in the system. Don't write him off yet!

I feel that to keep naslund scoring hell absolutely NEED to be on a line with Gomez. Also all 3 have great top speed and love making plays at top speed...seems as though they should work well together.
Callahan has to be the most overrated player on the Rangers, with the amount of love he gets from fans.
Amazing, considering he can't reach double digits in the goals column.
Fine by me. I've watched just about every Rangers game since he's been on the big team and while he plays with heart, he just isn't that skilled, as you said.
This might sound silly, but a random thought in my head. IS it POSSIBLE that this signing is simply a precursor. I have a weird feeling that this will be bringing Sundin to us in the comign weeks. Maybe Im dead wrong, juts seems a real possibility to me. Im not good with all the cap #'s etc, so that might be the problem....enlighten me fellow Rangers fans/
