Boulton didn't look half bad on that rush, and he picked up the goal on his own rebound. I'm sure Luongo would want it back, but it wasn't a terrible goal.

Hey and how 'bout Soupy?? He's been coming on a little bit lately. Maybe he's our #6 afterall!

He looked good on a couple rushes in that first period. That goal he allowed Domi to set up because he refused to take a hit the other night, however, still makes me cringe.

Buffalo with 33 shots on goal after 2, but only one goal to show for it. Damn, Luongo is good. We've dominated this game, but we need another one for sure.

Luongo usually stands on his head against the Sabres, I'm not surprised at all about that stat.

BTW, Andy Chiodo is making his NHL debut in net in that Pittsburgh/Isles game. Sounds like he's not too overwhelmed yet.

I don't believe it was clint (I've been wrong a couple times before, mind you) but there was a very interesting article about him in today's buffalo news

It was indeed Clint Malarchuk.Well,we got a point but that goal shouldn't have happened.Undisciplined Zhitnik takes 2 penalties in a row and of course Pyatt misses 3 oppurtunities point blank to clear the puck.

I hope they don't let Luongo's awesome play calm down their chances. They would have scored at least 3 on just about any other goalie in the league.

Cybersabre- thanks for posting that article form the News...that's my brother in the article (Florida's strength and conditioning coach), and I've heard some parts of this story from him...much obliged.

I don't like ties.

I especially don't like them when we're up in the third and then we have to settle for a tie. But, it is better than a loss... that's for sure. I'm glad we came away with a point. That's huge at this time of year. Only 3 points out now.. and games coming up vs the Habs and Isles.. this is getting very interesting

PS: Luongo rocked tonight. We deserved better but alas.

Sounds good to me...it would be really nice to see the whole northeast division get in plus I hate the Isles

don't trust her--- she made the same deal on the islanders forum

and she doesn't like ties. what's up with that? They seem to me like a rather classy fashion accessory.

Ties suck, whether they're the noose you wear to work or the sister kissing variety...hey maybe Bironsgirl should like ties!

Focus on your whipping boy, but forget about the countless odd man rushes we gave up. Good plan.

As good as Luongo was tonight, it was nothing more than we see every single night. Actually, it was a little worse b/c the Boulton goal was pretty lucky. It's a shame our defense allows so many shots, but Luongo is a beast after all. Good game!

Dude, we've seen better for a longer period of time. Luongo's good, but not dominating.
