I'm asking a simple question about his puck handling abilities, I like the signing and I want to know more. Stop drinking.

Like a grenade haha.

We have a guy on our men's league team and sometimes he just lets the puck go by...as if it were invisable. Oops! didn't see it coming!

Good point.

We are going to lose but I think we are going to go down swinging, unlike last year where not only did we leave the bat on the shoulder, we didn't even get into a batting stance.

Dont expect a flashy player who dominates. More of a defensive grinder who doesnt make many mistakes and, well, grind his opponents down. Will love to see what he can do once he plays in a league who encourage physical play more then the Swedish elite league who is very soft.

Jonas Frogren sounds like a really interesting player. I can't wait to watch him in the fall. I'll feel more comfortable when I see this up on TSN or the Leafs homepage, but it looks to be pretty solid information. If he turns out to be as tough as he looks in some of his pictures then I will be pleased.

I don't know a lot about Finger or Frogren but from their descriptions they do bring to mind our defence of the early 90s (as others have already suggested). Will be interested to see if they resemble Lefebvre/Rouse in their results.

Sounds like Cliff's taken a page of out of Colangelo's book ! It's about time we got a little creative with our acquisitions.

Very happy with the signing. I still think Stralman is ticketed for top-4 time, but there's definitely some protection if he struggles a bit.

Kaberle - Kubina
Coke - Stralman
Finger - Frogren (I like "Frick and Frack" for these two - nice shutdown pairing)

With the "D" market this hot, I admit we'll be hard-pressed to justify keeping Kubina. May depend what weget (if anything) for McCabe. His most likely destinations (Rags and Isles) seem like they're off the market now for him. New Jersey still sorely needs an imprvement on D, but I'm not sure Lou is sold on McCabe...

"Curiouser and curiouser," said Alice.

You can't expect him to win a championship in the time span of two years.

I think he's doing a damn good job, if you ask me.

He turned Villanueva into Ford, into O'Neal.

Give him time.

Pretty good, compared to the empty cupboard he was left with. Moon and Calderon are solid pieces. Garbajosa was solid until his injury last year. I'd guess that half the GM's had probably never heard of them until the Raps signed them.

Didn't the Celtics turn it around quickly?

Did he also say for how much $$ it was because us Leaf fans need to know that figure for our Salary cap analysis ?.
