Emery and Bertuzzi
Has anyone heard anything on these guys? I haven't checked every teams boards to see if local papers have been talking about them, but so far on this board/TSN there hasn't been a whole lot of talk about either

Haven't heard a word on Emery either.
Bertuzzi was supposedly in talks with the Pens but I guess his asking price was a little high so they moved on. Apparently the Pens offered 1 yr at 2.5 but I guess that wasn't enough.

Haven't heard much about Big Bert but I did hear that Emery was considering the Russian KHL.
As per Darren Dreger of TSN.ca
http://www.tsn.ca/columnists/darren_...-darren_dreger
"Sources say former Ottawa Senators goalie Ray Emery is sitting on a multi-million dollar offer to play in the re-constituted Russian Super League."

With the eventual coming of Burke in Toronto, I could see it happen there. He is going to come cheap becuz he is still getting money from Anaheim. If not there I think he could end up in Minnesota, Tampa, or even Pittsburgh.
Emery... I am thinking LA. That lifestyle is for him. He wants to be bigger than his team, so for him look for a team like that. Outside shot with the Coyotes.

Both will get overpaid by the Kings. How else are they going to reach the cap floor?

I had Emery pegged to Colorado, but there aren't many places that make sense for him anymore.
LA? Maybe. Atlanta to back up Lehtonen?

Oh man, I'd love to see Emery deal with Russian cops, they'd so put him in his place.

if the kings dont bite the khl would make a lot of sense for him. with his skill level as an average nhl goalie he'd probably do quite well. maybe he'll straighten up over there too

The Kings aren't going to even think about Emery. They want nothing to do with him.

Refer to Reaper's post about re-signing our RFA's. We will meet the cap floor next year. Even if we had to sign someone to reach the floor, there's no way Emery would be considered.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rangers inquired about him. A possible Naslund/Bertuzzi reunion.
We're awfully soft up front this year, I'd imagine Sather would see if Bertuzzi was interested.

i'm pretty sure they'd rather get payed off with picks and prospects to take other team's salary dumps.

Bertuzzi: Toronto, Carolina or LA would be my guesses
Emery: Not in the NHL

Man, some of you guys don't listen, the Kings have said they want nothing to do with Ray Emery.
Go to
www.insidesocal.com/kings and do a quick search on Emery. You'll find Lombardi's comments on Emery. He doesn't want him.
