Great deal for Montreal ! Grabovski had no place in our lineup and his attitude was crap in the dressing room.

He's a talented forward but watch out, if you scratch this guy from your lineup, he might escape and fly back to Toronto like he did in Montreal .

He's small, he's very very soft but yeah, he has some offensive upside if he can ever remain on his skates

I think Grabs was just frustrated at being shafted in terms of ice time when he had such an outstanding acumene in Europe. From the little i saw of him, he can skate like the wind, is a great stickhandler and isn't afraid to battle for the puck. If the Leafs give hime lots of tice ime he should develop into a real star.

Grabov can develop in a good offensive player, good gambling by TO.

Wow...I like Grabovski but I can't believe he was worth a second rounder and a warm body. He could do well for the Leafs though, we'll see.

That's my thought process.

It's a minimal type of move I think, but 2nd line center position was up for grabs.

I need to find that guy on the Montreal Board who posted a line-up with Grabovski on the 2nd line, and Koivu on the third line...

He's really easy to knock off the puck, but he's fast as hell and talented so he may turn it around.. It could be a good deal for Toronto. I don't know who Pateryn is....

I too am surprised at the return we got. Mainly the second round pick because I don't know Pateryn at all.

Okay gamble for Toronto, Grabo has some upside but I am very happy with this return for the Habs. That 2010 2nd could be a high one. This just confirms Grabovski was going to be the compensation for Sundin IMO.

The most popular line Montreal fans seem to come up with!

I predict now that Grabovski is gone from Montreal he will have a huge career...kind of like Ribeiro.

Heh, now that we know Fletcher had some interest in Grab, I wonder if it's what was offered by Gainey to talk to Sundin.

Pateryn is a defender who was drafted in the 5th round last month

he's going to play with University of Michigan this fall

Thanks for caring but our dressing room is perfectly sane.

And coming from a guy who have Sean Avery as a avatar...

Grabovski has talent but he spends 90% of his time on his ass...too weak and small but has good speed and ok hands

Shocker, nice pickup for the leafs, I happen to like Grabovski a lot. He was our best forward in Hamilton, has good speed and some slick offensive skills but he has almost zero lower body strength, he is easily knocked off the puck. His lack of strength hurts his defensive game and he's poor on face-offs but his speed helps him cover a lot of ground.

There was a lot of talk about him going back to Russia as he was an RSL All Star with Dynamo before leaving for North America. Getting a 2nd rounder is a solid return, although I wish it was in '09 of course as it could be a high 2nd rounder (no offense leaf fans)

I'm really dissapointed by this move, why would the Habs give up so quickly on a guy with so much potential, this one will definitely come back to haunt them.
