#11 Montreal Canadiens Prospect

Ranking so far for the prospects Summer 2008 edition

1. Max Pacioretty Drafted 22nd overall in 2007
2. Ryan McDonagh Drafted 12th overall in 2007
3. Jaroslav Halak Drafted 271st overall in 2003
4. Kyle Chipchura Drafted 18th overall in 2004
5. Ryan O'Byrne Drafted 79th overall in 2003
6. Ben Maxwell Drafted 49th overall in 2006
7. Pavel Valentenko Drafted 139th in 2006
8. P.K Subban Drafted 43rd overall in 2007
9. Alexei Yemelin Drafted 84th overall in 2004
10. David Fisher Drafted 20th overall in 2006

Please vote for #8. The poll will be opened for 24h unless the winner is ahead by a lumpsided affair (like in the case of Mcdonagh 75% of the votes)

Added Philippe Paquet, D

List of the remaining prospects

Andrew Conboy, LW
Mathieu Aubin, C
Patrick Johnson, C
Scott Kishel, D
Loic Lacasse, G
Olivier Latendresse, C
Jason Missiaen, G
Ryan Russell, C
Joe Stejskal, D
Greg Pateryn D

REMINDER: According to HF criterias, Carey Price has graduated because he has played more than 45 NHL games

S. Kost is 1 game away from graduation with 52 regular season games+ 12 playoffs games this year (HF criteria=65) but to me he has graduated

Ryan O'byrne will still be considered a prospect as he has only played 37 games with the Habs as well has Halak

Mathieu Carle, imo one of our most underated prospects out there... I believe may be top 4 within 2 years. before Mcdonagh arrival. we'll see. Put him with Hamrlik and just see how well and fast he will learn the game. I like his caracter and attitudes... is vision on the ice, NHL style.

I hate our prospect list right now, not because of the quality or quantity, but because I have no f***ing idea how to rank our prospects after the top 4-5. It's just so close. Flip a coin type close.

I'll also take Carle for #11. 24 points in 64 games as a just turned 20 year old defenceman in the AHL on a team that was in shambles most of the year is impressive. He was also impressive in training camp (when he was still 19) before getting injured.

You can definitely make a case for Weber, D'Agostini, White, Kristo, etc at this spot however.

BTW, did we really have Max Pac AFTER Grabo a year ago?!

Carle for me as well. People forget how well he was doing at the training camp last year before his injury. I expect he will turn some heads in this years camp.

He is so underrated around here, especially with the emergences of other offensive D in Weber and Subban people forget how well Carle did as a rookie in the AHL.

My boy Weber is finally going to win. haha

I like Trunev too, but it's probably still too early to say much about him.

Weber really impressed me this year. I love what I read about Trunev but I can't vote for him, I never saw him play at all.
