Yeah, the 77 would really make him look special wouldn't it?

There is an outside chance he changes to #32 now Streit is gone. He wore that number with CSKA (<---- see left) before going to N. America, but he might well be set with 46. Think I prefer what he has right now but I wouldn't be too surprised if he changes. Hope he won't though.

I think he meant that more in the sense that the all of the 30's are usually worn by goalies.

The most obvious answers to that would be to take what they've already said so I will be expecting:

Tanguay #81
Laraque #87

Carey Wilson wore #33 for most of his career as well. Marty McSorely wore #33 too. Zarley Zalapski, in his Penguin days was also #33.

Send a message via AIM to Player 61
I also heard the interview yesterday & BGL seemed to be leaning towards #87, he said something like he knew it could be retired one day for obvious reasons, but he was leaning that way anyway.

I hope he doesn't change to 32. I like the AK 46 for some reason, it has a nice ring to it. Plus I love Striet *patiently awaits comments on that haha* and I'll always think of Streit as 32.

I donno, I find 81 is the 3rd ugliest number, next to 41 & 61. It's just bulky and awkward. Too top heavy.

You'd think Tanguay would want a sleeker number. 17 would be great. To each his own, I guess.

Yeah, to me too. I want him to take the 40 and Lapierre 87 just to be hate a little bit more by Crosby.

I would like Laraque with the 26 like Pierre Bouchard, probably our last heavyweight champ, but Gorges can keep it. Go with the 30 like Nilan.

Tanguay siad that Lapierre could keep 40 and since 18 was retired he was thinking about 13 but if Sundin comes then he's happy to give that to him so he'd take 81

#13 or #81

Seriously though, I think Lapierre wore #26 in Hamilton, but Gorges has it, so let's just eswitch it and give Lapierre #62. Would fit him well for a 4th liner. Tanguay gets his #40. As for Laraque he gets #72. What do you think?

Tanguay #81 looks good too.
Cause Komisarek already wears that #

87 would look great on big George!

Wasn't Eric Weinrich #33 while he was here too ? Unless it was #22... Anyway, IMO it most looks like a dman number than a goalie one, even though Roy had that number.

Lapierre will probably give his number to Tanguay, and Laraque, that would be sooo funny to see him wear #87, especially against the Pens
