Moore. Hagelin had an encouraging 1st season at UM but Moore is ready to play in the NHL. Maybe not with this team, but he's ready.

As someone in the previous thread said: Hagelin projects to be what Moore is now. Hagelin could end up being better, but Moore is simply more advanced at this stage.

Honestly, chances are neither player really sticks in the NHL.

Awards:
Hagelin.

Moore is obviously further along and more of a "sure thing" in his projection, but from the little I've seen of Hagelin's game, I'll take the upside that I feel is there.

greg moore is like mark hartigan, an ahl reg player but a depth nhl player waiver material. hagelin has more upside, i see a more skilled niklas sundstrom honestly not great but not bad either.

I don't see Moore ever making it past the fourth line, to me that doesn't qualify as a quality prospect.

has anybody actually even seen hagelin play? he doesnt put up a ton of points, but you can see that he has loads more potential than greg moore.
hagelin is better than half of the guys that already hold spots on the list, not just potential-wise, but skill-wise, too.

I think he's got okay potential. I think his gotten a little overvalued here the last 6 months or so.

I'm not one of those who would say he has good odds to be a top-6 forward.

I don't think Moore is going to be a star and i'm not sure what kind of NHL'er he makes, but you'd never guess he was a top guy at Hartford last year and his numbers have always been pretty solid.

He's really flown under the radar.

Then again, so has Dupont, a player with 3rd line ability who's a lot closer to the NHL than Hagelin.

Dupont especially because he doesn't have an outrageous upside. But he's another one who I have a lot of hope for. A big kid who will throw some checks, drop the gloves and chip in some points. Obviously not at the high-end level we need, but it would certainly be nice to have some size on the third line as well.
