What happen to Foote?

I can't wait for the excuse they will give out tomorrow morning.

" We are trying hard, unfortunately we came up short"
OR:
" It is the special teams again"
OR:
" We didn't play well ( DUH). We should try to play 60 minutes of hockey".

What a brutal effort by the Avs.

Hopefully Foote isn't out for any amount of time.

Hang your heads low, keep to yourself, take a long, hot shower and go to bed.

Tomorrow's another day, boys.

Foote has a slight groin pull according to Granato.

If the Avs have to recall a defenseman, it will be curious as to who that will be. Apparently DJ Smith is out with an injury.

Quite possibly the worst all around game by the Avs that I've ever witnessed.

I'm taking a stance similar to Dario--I don't have much else to say.

That's an interesting question. DJ is out indefinitely. There's only 3 healthy 'Aves' defense guys left - Slovak, Finger, & Saviels.

Maybe we will get a chance to see Slovak? Not that I really want to, since that would mean Foote isn't playing. I sure hope this injury bug goes away before the playoffs. I got this nagging feeling Peter's injury is his groin again, and not his hip. I sure hope I'm wrong, because if it is, surgery might be the next step, and we all know how that affected Hejduk.

They didn't talk at all about Foote on the Granato show this morning. Granato did list the players not going on the road trip and they did NOT include Foote. So I guess he's available.

Blake, Nikolishin, Brigley, Hinote and maybe Larsen are staying home.

Hahl is supposed to play on this road trip.

I can agree with that. I turned the game off after the 5th goal. Just pathetic.

My guess is that Foot's injury is slight & they take him along & evaluate him day to day. If he's not fine, they'll call someone up at the last minute.

Yea for Riku!!

God dammit I was right. I should have knocked on wood or something.
