Like I said yesterday, I have no idea and wasn't told anything regarding the ETA of the announcement. Cheers.

- HFF... a reputable poster quoting a source within the organization on a Sundin signing.

- Mike Gillis saying he's been in contact with Sundins agent all week.

2 very very encouraging signs to say the least.

Softest team in the NHL?

Bieksa, Davison, Mitchell, Hordichuk, Johnson, Kesler, Burrows, Bernier, Brown.

That's a set of a guys that isn't willing to let other teams step on them.

Not to mention.... there could be a couple more additions/signings - Rypien-??? and I'd love to see Montador in a Canuck jersey.

I noticed Cowan wasn't included in your list - which is fine - but he could end up being in the lineup as well.

Should he take the Anaheim jersey off first, or perhaps just wear his Canucks jersey on top of the Ducks' one?

Everyone is talking about the Habs, Leafs or Nucks... Of course I would like to have him in the " Bleu Blanc Rouge ", but It won't surprised me if he's going with another team in the East... A team under the radar...

We was all " surprised " to see Hossa go to Pittsburgh at the last deadline... Maybe we'll be surprise by Sundin's decision as well

We was? I thought that the Pens were the front runners the whole time?

A radio guy in Montreal contacted the Canadiens and asked them about this "signed, sealed delivered" nonsense and they said they haven't heard anything of the sort and still feel they will sign him.

How else would expect them to respond?

That's true, nice catch.

IMO, picture it as Sundin = A hot girl, Vancouver and Montreal = muscle dummies.

Are you sure ?

Waddel told the newspaper in his press conference at the bell center ( Thrashers was playing at Montreal at the trade deadline ) that Shera came with this offer at the last minute...

Unless the agreed on the trade at the very last minute, I got the impression that the Pens came out of nowhere to make that deal...

Huh? I rest my case.

Good for Good for trying to be good. But Good isn't all that good. And really, Good has never been all that good.

He's a sad remnant of the late 90's canadian music scene. Along with Econoline Crush, I Mother Earth, The Odds and Moist, Matt Good should've just hung it up. Long ago.

I just want all this nonsense to be over with, Sundin will sign with Montreal, and all us Canucks fans can stop praying for him to sign with us which he will not.

If he really wanted to, he would have on day 1, when we offered him 20 million dollars.

We'll have to make due with our lineup now maybe with the addition of another 3rd line player in hopes he can play on the second line

The biggest mistake was holding out all this money that we could have been using on other players for Sundin who wont even sign with us.

I hope I eat all of my words
