He obviously didnt share any with Ottawa so I feel pretty safe about it. Not sure if he'll be bringing the diving gear with him though

I'm with Rock, this game is a great way to kick off the season. What better way to see how this team performs. We shook the bad spell in that building and helped to seal Carolina's playoff hopes. They'll be looking for payback.

And a visit from Phoenix is a must for this new schedule.

We have a preseason game on the day the normal season normally starts.
You mean our opening night roster.

I am jacked about our youngsters I should go to both, even though they might be here during the regular season.

Any of you Calgarians going to go to the pre-skates?
I try and make the pregame warmup for everygame if I can. Almost always make sure I do for Panthers or when the Hitmen play teams with Panthers prospects.

These tickets go on sale when???

Do you phone and order/pick-up/online...what do you guys do for these pre-season tix and where do you sit because they likely will not sell out.

I usually get them online, the Flames send me email about when tickets go on sale. Sometimes I'll get them thru people I know with season tickets who just dont care about the preseason and know how much I would enjoy the Panther games.

The cheapest and easiest to get are the 300 level seats, and thats where the Panther players sit too (the ones that aren't playing that night). Usually the Flames have a package where you can buy all the preseason games and get 2 of their lesser regular season games (which would be florida if they play here during the season).

97 was the only year that people in Calgary actually wanted to see the Panthers and it was difficult to get tickets.

Thanks for the welcome to the board.

Yes, I am an Islander fan first, but I am also a supporter of the the Panthers. I go to many of the games. And with my garbage job, I usually have no money from paying for jr. hockey and going to panthers games (I'm 16). So, I guess you could say I'm a loyal supporter of the Panthers.

Hope to see a good season this year, and I'll see you guys there.
