aaahhh, the classic troll point deflection.

take notes amateurs. while appearing to make a point, this troll is dodging a point by making another obvious point, and pretending that these two points cannot co-exist. then he goes on to say that they "are nowhere near comparable" as if someone other than him made the comparison. you're a pro, Jersey Fresh.

I guess its too bad that there isn't a "Metro Ice Challenge Vezina Trophy" then.

I guess Marty's real one(s) will have to do...

1. Can't accept the fact we smoked their team last year.
2. Can't accept it the Rangers might have had a better off season than the Devils.
3. Can't believe the possibility that the Rangers might have some better players than the Devils.
fixed again for McRanger

Tsk tsk, it should have been finalist not nominee, there are no nominations involved. You get an "A" for effort though.

Lazy bums are not yes-men. Yes-men are people who compromise their ability and ideals to conform.

Holik is a strong personality but got tired of being held down. Now in his later years, there's not much ability left to hold down plus 2.5mil never hurts for a 30 point 4th line center.

I made a clear distinction between what I would term a cheapshot artist (Hollweg), and what White does which I outlined, and don't believe makes him a cheapshot artist at all. If he was, so is 80% of the league.

I like your style, though.

yea, he and gomez left because they wanted to be let free and speak their minds....or because the rangers were willing to over pay for them

because without Jagr, they are a much more unpredictable team rather than relying on him for the bulk of the offense. Plus, this team's style of play is going to be much faster without him.

2. your right, i mean downgrading your offense and upgrading your defense will help you guys score more too. but your offense wasnt a big problem last year, you guys did scrore 7 more goals then us last year
1. Because that was the last time we saw the team's play, and the Rangers were far superior.
2. The Rangers offense will be better this year, they added two guys who scored just as many Jagr and will be playing with better centermen.

ok, the isles beat the **** out of us all year too, were they far superior? if we played the isles in a best of 7 series, we probably would have lost too

2. ok, keep telling yourselves that

Well that's why I posted two different sources...because I knew I'd get a rebuttal like this, but you conveniently chose to ignore the other one. I guess there's just no winning with you guys. Just keep pushing the "Rolston is old" argument. The guy maybe older than Redden, but unlike him, he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down in recent years. He's missed a total of 6 games in the past 5 years, and I think 2 of those were because of the flu. He still has the speed and the shot to be effective, but according to you guys he's going to go from a 30 goal scorer to a 5 goal scorer in 4 seasons. Good for you.

Yeah, Lundqvist must really feel bad that while he was playing in the second round Marty was off having an affair or playing golf.

Classic Devils response. They never think the Rangers are a threat to them. Even after the Rangers destroyed them the entire season.
