As a Hawk fan I am seriously depressed now, but I am glad for Sully. He is a solid player and a good guy to boot. Y'all will love him in Nashville, you got yourselfs a pretty good hockey player there.

He is tearing this game up. His assist was such a nice play that all Timonen had to was tap it in

I think this trade is going to be enough for Nashville to hold St. Louis off.

sully is the man

I'm in Chitown and I was seriously angry to see Sully go. We're trading Zhamnov and Sully was the guy who was supposed to captain this team after Alex left. I'm of the opinion that he would've been a better captain. The fact that he got a hat trick in his debut is great for him. The guy is a midget that plays his heart out (maybe the poor man's Martin St. Louis?) and he always gave it all as a Blackhawk, even though the team has sucked forever. I'm now rooting for the Preds, and especially Sullivan. Go Preds, keep those ******* Blues out of the playoffs!!!

Wow, Zidlicky is amazing, he just keeps on rolling.

And can you say good pickup for the Preds. Then again, it's only 1 game, but Sully's a great player

Wow. What a way to win the fans over. Congrats on the hatty Sullivan!! First impressions are important. Glad to see him having some success and being freed from Chicago. Sorry Hawk fans.. but I think he was itching the get away and now that he has.. he'll be even better. I still hope Chicago gets some good guys with their 2 first rounders. I'd like to see them improve.

Sully is NHL.com's first star of the night

Marek Zidlicky is their second.

Sweet! And Luongo definately deserved to be a star tonight. He was awesome against Buffalo. Sure he let in a softie to Boulton but the rest of the night.. he was off the hook. Sabres should have scored at least 3 more.
