Nervous about getting moved? "Never totally confident..."

Played centre in Junior - would you like playing there again? Toughest part is taking draws...

Wife interrupted me..........

Does CBS need more physical presence in the forwards? Added a bit but we have some toughness....

Lost Shelly - does it matter? Jody was a great team mate doing one of the toughest jobs in sports... He is a scary individual who can play the game...

Look at Nash - great players make team mates better? Do you need another great player? We have Modin / Umberger / Husalius...... Nash is a fun guy to watch...

Bringing in new guys? Change is sometimes for the better... We have a great defense now... Have a great goaltender...

Coming up after intermission - thoughts on Brule.... (This is an Edmonton radio station)

Brule - lot of skill - might have been brought along too soon - should most players get another year in the AHL? Yes, learn a lot - get a greater appreciation of the NHL plus gain confidence... Brule will be a really good hockey player... Rookies can't do much without getting lots of ice time...

Calls from listeners...

Media pressure in Edm vs Cbs...... Edmonton atmosphere is great - but obviously lots of pressure...... Cbs has Ohio (football club) making hockey less pressure...

Cbs coaching staff gave him great opportunity to play since it was a younger team... Extra playing time helped...

Hitchcock has a reputation of making players earn ice time... Did Hitchcock sit down with you & lay ground rules? Hitch is defensive oriented & allows offense if the opportunity presents itself...

Zherdev..... Has come around huge - has bought in more every year - if he gets it a little more - will be a great player.... He started playing poker with the guys on the plane - bonding...

My email read on air... Cbs had major changes on defense? Made a great trade with New York - we got some guys who can move the puck plus a bit bigger...

Commercial break...

If a guy does not "fit in" is that a locker room problem? Not unless two players clash... Don't need to always get along....

Is it harder for Europeans to fit in? Yes, language problems (i.e. Zherdev) - happened during lock-out when Chimera played in Italy...

Hitchcock..... Ken cares about everyone - wants to win - that is why he pushes players - nice to know expectations...

Media & fans look at stats - players look at ice time... Obviously coach trusts a player like Chimera without the points... I want to be a 20 - 30 goal scorer but not my role...

How many shoot out opportunities? I did great in practice but few opportunities in games...

Who is best shoot out player on Cbs? We were terrible - prayed to not get into a shootout... Nash was best on the team...

Dallas Stars - Steve Ott one of the best agitators - now have Avery... Just need to ignore them - will be interesting to play Dallas...

Does a team need a tough guy? Someone to step up... People do not care if you win or lose - but players must step up for the team mates...

Another commercial break...

Missed a few points - wife kept interrupting me to get my input on the holiday we are taking tomorrow...

Got to go - hopefully someone else is listening & will post...

Huselius was 4 for 5 last season with the Flames in shootouts. Hopefully he can do that here.
