Flyers fan since: Not sure exactly when, but it was fairly recently. Have followed hockey in VERY loose terms for the last twenty years (which has proven somewhat difficult on this side of the planet until recent times, HAHA!), but have only really become hooked in the last year... Never truly had an allegiance to a team before that, but watching the Flyers play... Yeah, that made up my mind who to support!
Favorite Team: Flyers, if i had a second team, it would be the islanders, i used to love watching them battle when we both were terrible.
Most hated team: The Pens, i cant stand the Canadians, and their fans, no offense.....
Favorite Players: Hextall of course, an a huge mike richards fan even though hes gone. Simmonds has impressed me from the get go. my favorite player in the league who isnt a flyer is Tim Thomas, i love the way he plays and i love how aggressive he can get

My name is Jeff, I was born on the day the Flyers last won a Cup. I live in New England now, but grew up in Philly. My favorite Flyer was the two-headed monster, Jeff Carter-Mike Richards, but they are gone now, so I am rooting for Claude and JvR to take over the role of leaders and bring a cup back to philly.

Flyers fan since: Was about eight playing floor hockey and someone remarked I looked like Cechmanek when i was in net. I found out who he was, he grew on me and I became a Flyers fan and never looked back (Sorry Nucks)

Flyers fan since: I've always liked the Flyers but ever since I started to follow NHL closely a couple of years ago (bought NHL streams, watching as many games as my uni schedule allows), I've been a Blue Jackets fan. Before this season, my favorite player on the Jackets, Jake Voracek, got traded to Philly and my all-time favorite Jagr signed here, so since Jackets got of to a horrid start right from the beginning, I started following Flyers as close as possible. I thought it's just a one-season affair, but the team grew on me incredibly. I mean, Flyers have such an amazing history, it's a team with a great personality and incredible amount of talent...I think I won't be able to go back.

High school girlfriend had ahuge crush on Zezel, etc...been following the Flyers and Bruins hardcore since the 80's. Ever since my son became a diehard Flyers fan I've been pulled ever more over the being a full time Flyers fan. Can't wait for the Phantoms to come to town!

Flyers fan since: I was old enough to understand sports. Neither of my parents were really into sports teams let alone hockey. My grandmother of all people was the one who got me into the Flyers and my interest in sports expanded from there. She would recall tales of teams past and made the Bullies and the teams of the 80's seem like mythology.
