[quote=NMK;14877469]Why, when so many other former Oilers have gotten into management and coaching in the NHL and AHL, has he opted to stay out of hockey after he retired?

Did your off-ice shenanigans prevent you from entering the Hall earlier?

Re-read the first post as slowly as necessary.

You mean that you're completely ignoring what the OP has asked for?

I have no interest in rehashing things other than his time on the ice or hockey in general. If you want to find out about the things you previously mentioned then try and gain the confidence of people around him enough to find out.

Also, he's in the Hall, so nothing has prevented him from joining. Maybe from being a first ballot guy, but not from joining all together.

I know Glenn spends much of his winters touring and playing with the Legendary Hockey Heroes team. I have personally played against him two of the last three winters in Lloydminster and in shooting the breeze with him over some post-game refreshments I seem to recall him saying he still plays upwards of a full 82-game schedule.

Good question. I'll ask him about the Legendary Hockey Heroes if time allows.

during a paternity suit he said he only played 10 times a year and had no other income---Glenn is cagey with him money and he would not expose himself to paying someone more money then he wants

You're pretty in-tune to the inner workings of Glenn Anderson's psyche. Maybe I should interview you.

The lawsuit was resolved. Glenn makes the payments.

Maybe he plays a lot because he's got about $3,000/month in child support to pay?

From what I know of him, he spends a lot of time with his daughter.

End of story as far as I'm concerned. It really doesn't impact what he's done on the ice.

If I was going to interview Gretzky I wouldn't ask about his gambling.

which lawsuit? he got hit with two. During one he played the card where he had no income per year and was living in a one bedroom apartment in Manhaten living off his girlfriend

you want to a question

Ask him about the dead male in his pool in edmonton and the fact he was supposedly a male hooker.

you do the math of why you are getting sarcasm from some of us.

Being from Alberta and from Edmonton, I have a certain perspective on points of view. The dead guy, don't care about. But the game he played with the media trying to convince people he was flat broke---we are good old boys and we don't play games and accepte our stupidity

Ask him if he thinks there's a direct connection between him running over Ryan Smyth and the contract negotiation fallout Lowe and Smyth had 20 years later.

Just for his reaction.

or would you like to talk about drugs in the 80's?

I hung out at rock city and came across Anderson on several times.

Mods please close this thread as no real good seems to be coming from it.

Thanks to those who have contributed. If there is time I will ask some of your questions.

I am not going to even bother looking until after I have closed this.

I am not going to give points but really this poster was a guest and asked you for legitimate questions.

What a rude way to treat a guest!

How old are you people. My 12 year old knows how to behave better!
