The Preseason schedule has yet to be officially announced - but gathered from teams who have released theirs so far.

There may be one or two more games added, but for the most part, thats it. Also waiting for the date and time of the burgundy/white game.

2008-2009 Schedule

Boston, huh? I feel like we're being faithless to Dallas now.

Can't complain....

we get the entire northeast at home - not to mention the new-look lightning home/away.

HUGE homestand in the middle there.

GOD i love the new (old) scheduling format.

Have only taken a quick look, but I'm very excited about what I see so far.

And I only counted five back-to-backs!

I am still looking for more things to break now that I have learned the Avs won't be coming to Ottawa this year.

I'll be there. But based on my last experience there I may be less overt about who I'm cheering for.

I get seven when I recount, but I'm not very awake so I'll take your word for it.

Back to back games in Detroit and Philadelphia?

looks like we have the flyers, thrashers, and lightning as our 3 teams from the east we play twice. not bad, should win a majority of those games.

I guess they abandoned the end-of-season divisional play (which I loved).

we have just 3 NW games in the last 10 - all Vancouver.

our last game against Calgary is freaking Feb 2nd.

Kinda pissed Buffalo goes to Denver, instead of the other way around.

I will be at atleast one of the games @ Detroit and hopefully one @Columbus.

So we get to Boo Bertuzzi for the last time in the regular season on Groundhogs Day? How fitting

I'm pissed. I'll have to ride 10 hours to see the Avs play.

First game against the Hawks is a Monday night. Blah. The second is a Sunday, but not until March?? (In Chicago anyway)

I guess I will have to take in the pre-season game then. And I may miss both in Chicago...so I can break the bank going to the Winter Classic

Last three at home! I always look at that first. Those games can be huge and its great to see that we are playing two potentially bad teams in the last 3 (Van and STL).

According to the number crunchers, the Avs have the fewest back-to-backs in the league
