hey vivelequebec, remember you a bit from Cyberdunk. But i'm waiting for their hockey one for sure.
I'm now playing http://goallineblitz.com by far the best MMORPG out there. It's a football one, much more realistic then cyberdunk is, but Cyberdunk was at the top too when it started.
Cant wait for Cyberpuck, when is it supose to be open?
I hope price will be a little bit more respectable then it was on cyberdunk. GLB price range are much more realistic, allows you to have more player at once for the same price.

Well, you usually create a player and then you train him, on GLB it's level up with experience on Cyberdunk it's training you gotta start yourself when the current one ends. Then you play on some teams whether they are human owned or CPU owned. At some point teams will be owned by human and then you play against other Human team. There are player and team tactics/strategy. And with time you improve uyour guy skills like Speed shooting checking etc i guess in Cyberpuck. You can mold your guy in an offensive defencemen pass or shoot first defensive D physical D forward playmaker dangler whatever. You work on skills individually so you can have any kind of build possible.
You sign contracts with team set tactics on a forum linked to the website and all. Usually it's pretty fun especially if you start early and are always one of the best guy, allows you to be in the most active leagues, with most actives GM, where the competition is the ebst and all.
I hope they learned from their mistakes on cyberdunk even if the game was good. It was the first of a kind pretty much so they had to experiment alot. Now that they have been able to notice what works and what has to be tweaked they should make a good game i guess. It'll be soemthing to look at for sure.

Well it's free to play, but like in every game you need to pay for bonus.
In GLB you start with 400 flex points.
Glamor players, QB, HB, WR cost 300
Normal player, TE FB defensive players cost 200
Non glamour, K P O-line cost 100
So you can create as many guys as you want within that 400 points for free.
In cyberdunk it's one player no matter the position.
Then if you wanna "Boost" your guy you have to pay basically.
In GLB it's 3 levels per year maximum, each level cost as much as the amount you had to pay for your guy at first. So you could make one kicker and boost him 3 times right away without paying anything or boost a defensive player once if you dont make any other. While in Cyberdunk you had to buy Cyberdunk points to boost your guy no matter what.
Also there's "Custom equip" Equipement that you buy with real money, they are also limited, moreso in GLB then Cyberdunk.
Also you can buy a team with money too in either one and it'll be the same in cyberpuck.
You can also make more players with real money.
So yeah both games are free to play, but you have to pay if you wanna stay on top or have more players, own a team and stuff.
Both also have ways to get free flex or CD points with referal and stuff. GLB also hands points on hollidays or when the website had been down for a little while stuf like that.
I guess thats all there's to say about money in those games.
Sorry if I wasn't there. I'm a little bit shy to post here (my english is not very good) :S
First, it's a MMORPG (Massive multiplayer online role playing game). So, you start by creating an hockey player. You choose is weight, size, position, name, etc. After, you give him skills. You have a limit. You can choose to give him great wrist shot, great passing ability, etc. After you have done all this, you start to search for a team (in this case, we could have our own team (not manage by me, I already plan to do one with an other forum but I will be happy to participe with you ).
After all this, you play in a league (no NHL or KHL, but Canada, Russia, Sweden, etc. with division 1,2,3,4.). You also choose your tactic and your equipment (which gonna upgrade your player's skills). After a season, you can re-upgrade your skills with CDPs (you can during the season only by training because there's a limit with CDPs).
After each games, you can see wath your player did. You can't follow the game live. The game should be released by july. It as lot of succes with basket version (they gonna release a soccer version in august!)

I was in top 100 players in Cyberdunk without pay 1 $ EVER. You can have CDPs by posting your referrals links (30 CDPs) or by write articles on your blog (3 per months - 100 CDPs by articles). 1 skills is 50 CDPs (you can easily pay your 40 skills limits just with referrals links). A team is 1000 CDPs I think...
100 CDPs = 1 US dollar I think.
