Dale Purinton: League's Biggest Punk

With the game essentially done, Purinton jumped Cairns from behind, suckerpunched Cairns to the ice, then continued to throw punches at Cairns while he layed on the ice. When Cairns eventually got up, Purinton turtled and hid behind the ref.

Typical Rangers.

Simon Pu$$y

Chris simon just goes after someone who can't fight because of a brace on a shoulder.

Joe Micheletti just made a great point as Dan Lacouture repeatedly punched Czerkawski with the game over.

Why didn't the Rangers do this when they were being beaten by the Flyers badly the other day?

Oh yeah....they're ******* who only fight when it works for them.

Which is humorously ironic since it's exactly what the Flyers did the other night. Smart teams wait until they have nothing to lose before they start putting themselves into penalty situations.

Exactly my point. One would figure you'd be happy enough about the standings lead that you needn't cry about the little stuff.

Guess I was wrong. Isles fans apparently don't need much to make 'em cry where the Rangers are involved.

This was the Isles 3rd regulation loss in their last 17 games, I'm not worried

No matter who is ahead in the standings on what the situation is, jumping someone from behind is CLASSLESS,continuing to punch that guy while on the ground is CLASSLESS< then when the guy you jumped from behind gets up you hide behind the refs is CLASSLESS & BALLSLESS, going after & fighting someone who has a brace on their shoulder and as a result is not able to fight is CLASSLESS.

nope. With Parrish back any day now and Yashin's rehab going well(he's due back in the next couple of weeks),i'm quietly confident these guys will give the nyi a boost and push them into the playoffs.

Beating the rangers would be nice, but I'd much rather lose to the rangers and make the playoff

Cry some more. Keep it going.

Purinton and Cairns dropped the gloves. Then Purinton broke Cairns face.

Keep crying. Cairns went back at him after the fight was broken up.

Wait. Who's the punk?

And hitting a ref + ripping his helmet off is great sportsmanship!

And having to get THROWN out of the arena by a linesman (Asham) is nice also!

Please.
