As long as he stands in front of the net and scores goals he can be good.

You know what, any one who scores for the Habs is welcome to stay. Forget the "clique" issue. I could care less who has dinner with who. Just play hard and score more goals then the other team.

Dags is far from elegant on the ice, but his goal totals are a nice little surprise.

As for Kilger..... nice guy, good size, skates fast in a straight line, born mean-streak free.

Dagenais can be effective at times and when he scores goals then its all good. But until someone else is brought in, I can't think of anyone on our roster that is a better fit on Rib's wing.

I thought it was pretty funny when they asked a quick question, and Dags went into monologue mode using every cliché in the book without really answering the question because he obviously memorized everything he was going to say before hand. He was probably thinking something like: "They already know what I'm going to say, so I might as well get it over with..."

I saw Dags backcheck once in game 27 of the season...doesn't matter that the game was over and he backchecked Begin to grab his beer, it was a backcheck nonetheless...Molson sti!

Unbiased Canadian
He scored that goal because he went to net. Its not a garbage goal, its a goal that we dont score enough in montreal because the habs players are allways afraid of parking themself infront of the net. We need more of those type of goals in montreal because shoting from the point the hole game well not give us 4 goals a game.

Dagenais has size, and its up to julien to use him right. Hes the kind of player we need infront of the net to take rebounds from ryder and ribeiro. Dagenais is a horrible skater so the only way for us to use him right is by him going hard to net and taking rebounds.

Going back to the subject of the thread which is "I love Dagenais ... because of his interviews" I saw a great one today on sports 30 on RDS. It was really funny. Reneault was saying that it was still unsure who would be in nets saturday and then he went on to say that there was no question on DAgenais playing though but he said that Dagenais remaining in the NHL will always be a question mark. Meanwhile we were seeing replays from the flames game and then the focus switched to Dagenais answering a question and he looked pissed and he said about the following : C'est toujours la même histoire.

Hahaha.... I laughed my ass off.
