Question??? 2005 draft.

If the NHL loses the entire next season, how do they decide draft order in 2005?

With the two guys that are headlining the next two drafts; if the same team got the #1 overall the next two years in a row, they'd be set for the next 15-20 years.

No one knows.. Most likely would be a lottery with the past 2-3 standings.

Though I don't remember where, I remember reading that they will take this year's standings and do the lottery again. So the same 5 teams vying for Ovechkin will be vying for Crosby.

If that happens, that's B.S.

I don't think anything has been decided officially. I've seen the speculation also but the NHL isn't going to commit to something while they're still negotiating.

They said during the Blues/Wings game that it could be they would use the same order of ’04 in ‘05, still speculation, but that’s what Bob McKenzie said.

NO...that was Kevin Allen from USA Today, who speculated that idea.
