(Still no official Sharks announcement of Mitchell's return)

This puts the Sharks at the NHL minimum of 20 players on the roster. Mitchell, Blake, Setoguchi are on the IR, as per roster count.

So, if Mitchell, Setoguchi and/or Shelley won't all be returning to the lineup, there may still need to be call ups for Wednesday. (Blake won't be activated until like Friday; Staubitz is out "weeks".)

It's getting so its hard to figure out if this was the recall/assignment from this game or last game. The youngin's are going to be earning some frequent flier miles this year. Added with the travel they have to take because we are a west coast team, and I wonder what someone like Corture will end the season with in terms of miles traveled? And I also wonder who is going to figure out how many days of AHL pay versus NHL pay for those guys? Thats going to be a spreadsheet especially if there are incentive bonuses on both contracts. (bet they don't mind though)

You can bet both the NHLPA and PHPA (the players union in the AHL) know exactly how much these guys are due.

Mitchell has been Deleted from the Worcester roster in the Ahl transaction log so he's probably back in San Jose now, Maybe they will send him on another conditioning assignment? Is that possible or against the rules?

He was on the ice and skated full practice in SJ today.
