I swear to Vishnu there was a listing in the Airdrie phone book by the name of "Pidass, Stu". Hasn't been in it for years though. I imagine it was a prank that went unnoticed for a while.

EDIT: found a pic on the internet!

My friend is 1/2 black 1/2 white. His dad is from a very poor background in inner city Detroit. His mom is from a very affluant family.

He calls me up and goes "Two of my cousins had babies."
"Oh, really?"
"Yep. Lukas Michael."
"Oh...that's cute."
"And Shampayne LaQuisha."
"Oh..."
"Can well TELL which one is THE HOOD side?"

I always wondered if it was cruel or cool that Igor Larionov named his Detroit born son Igor Junior.Oh well, at least he moved back to Russia before the kid was old enough to go too far into school with taunts of "Fetch me a brain!"

George Foreman, the former championship boxer, has five or six sons all named George.

There's an old Texas governor from the late 19th century named James Hogg who had the good sense to name his daughter Ima, a semi-common girl's name from the era, but come on ... really, dude?

There's a Brazilian soccer player named Creedence Clearwater Couto, a Zimbabwean named Danger Fourpence and a Trinidadian named Stern John.

Didn't he have a daughter named Georgina, too? All with different women.

I used to know a girl named Rosacea. Same spelling and pronounciation as the skin condition.

I know four Mike Hunts and there was a guy in my high school graduating class by the name of Fuk Yu Tu...

Consider when I find the right redhead...and you'll see Sylvester Catt one of these days and trying to convince the kid I named him after STALLONE...

A guy I work with has 3 female cousins of the same mother and father named: Princess, Precious and Purple. If I was those kids, I'd be pissed at my parents. Those are awful names for a person, IMO.

And I don't know what anybody says, the name Jesus (hay-zoos) is just awesome looking on paper.

7th Grade Algebra teacher......Richard Harold Dick. We just called him "doubledick", but the possibilities were endless. He never got mad at that. Do you think he heard creative names like those before?

I think there's a chance everything you were telling him was repeated to a therapist, who was telling him "Richard, never get mad at your students for telling you these things. You must find your inner peace. Or an attorney."

There's this one American Latvian guy, whose last name is Gulbis - which in English means Swan. His first name is Steve, which in latvian spells and pronounces Stivs - a word that means Stiff. So, eventually, his name is Stiff Swan.
Another good one is a pretty prominent person in Latvia. His last name is Zakis - Rabbit in English. His parents were stupid enough to name him Alnis - Moose. So his name is Moose Rabbit

That Shampayne reminds me, a friend of mine just had a baby girl and she named her Jerzie. She has 2 boys named Jethro and Jagger. Her name and her husband's names both start with J as well.

I also have a friend who named her son Jaxson. Not Jackson, Jaxson. Maybe people just feel the need to be different.

There is a doctor in my town who named his daughter Patience (or Patients, since he's a dr).

Ok, I have to get in on this.
Not actually weird in themselves, but my best friend has a fetish with naming his kids after movie characters and actors.

First son: Connor MacLeod Tremblay
Second son: Austin Stallone Tremblay

My cousin had the bad taste to name his kid, Blade Steele.

And I had the bad taste to name mine Jimothy Keginald Clarke

Not probably the worst, but I'd think the poor kid has hard times to live to the family name.

I once knew a William William Williams.

Also, I always joke with my wife that I'm going to name my kid Minnie Cara (my last name is Vann).
