I hate any team with an inordinate amount of payroll (Wings, Rangers, ect...) and cities with a large amount of classless fans (sorry but I never liked what *some* of the Flyers fans did to poor Lindy Ruff that 1 year). I will almost always root for the underdog when I'm not cheering for the Panthers or rooting for my bro's team (Montreal) when my Panthers are out of the playoff picture.
That's easy, the Minnesota Wild. I despise everything about that team, Wes Walz is the only player that has my respect, pretty much. I hate Lemaire, I hate their disgusting jerseys, I hate the style of game they play, and I guess I just don't like the cut of their collective jib.
I also hate the Rangers, for obvious reasons. But most other teams I'm neutral on, aside from Vancouver, Boston, Tampa Bay, Montreal, and Philly, who are my favourites.
I don't hate teams with huge payrolls, I hate teams with huge payrolls who don't accomplish anything. The Leafs come to mind. How high is their payroll and how many years has it been since they've been to a final not to mention won a cup?
