Flyer's next trade ?

seidenberg and esche and a 2nd rounder for kolzig.
this would happen after bob clarke found out sean burke had vertigo problems and would follow the pattern of ruining the team's future

we just traded the only 2nd rounder we even had.

If people are going to make up silly, joke proposals looking for a chuckle, at least get the picks each team has right!

This year they have:

Their own 3rd-9th round picks

Washington's 4th
Minnesota's 5th
St. Louis' 5th
Carolina's 6th
Florida's 6th
San Jose's 6th
Washington's 7th
Tampa Bay's 9th

I hope Clarke isn't going to be an idiot this year and trade all his picks in the 6th-9th rounds again so he can catch an early flight again, like he's been doing the past few years, some not all

it doesn't matter what picks the flyers have this year. the draft is terrible after the top 10, maybe just the top 5 this year. next years draft is shaping up much better and much deeper. if teams want low picks in a weak draft, great! seems to me clark is getting something for nothing with these picks.

you stole my line, you SOB! I have a feeling Clarke will make a move in the offseason before the draft.

What's that? Announcing he's not going to re-sign Zhamnov?

No, the Clarke trying to catch a flight home early line, I used it in our discussion yesterday.

I meant the offseason move, but yeah I did steal that from you. That line was used last year as well.

I won't mind it as much this year to get picks next year in a deeper draft. Maybe every year, Clarke is going to trade all his late round picks for picks one round higher for a few years and one year, in a deep draft we'll have 5 first round picks

That's non-sense...

Why trade another d-man while he was shopping for them not too long ago... and he just traded vandermeer for zhamnov. You can't go a long way in the playoffs if you don't have a solid experienced defence. He gave away Weinrich, traded vandermeer, desjardin's out for a long time. he can't afford to trade away another defenseman unless he gets one in return.

I the Flyer's are going to make another move, I hope it involves Amonte to Buffalo!
Tony without a doubt is my favorite player in the NHL.

One of the reasons they got Zhamnov, besides preventing him from going to NJ, is that they hope him and Zhamnov can click again. If he gets Amonte to hit one less post a game, I'll be satisfied. You don't want him in Buffalo, he's not worth the money.

Sure Kolzig is better then Esche, but Esche is allot younger and has great upside. That's why I said that and if you look at the numbers Kolzig is nowhere near what he used to be.

And why is it people like you and others always say "nice spelling, great english" really does it bother you that I use the word ain't instead of isn't.
