strange game for wozniak. She showed flashes but is still inconsistent. She does move around the court better but there's certainly room for improvement there.

I think jankovic is going to wipe the court with her

Dubois VS Kirilenko tomorrow at 1PM on the central court.
Wozniak VS Jankovic tomorrow at 7h30 PM on the central court (damn, I'll be working, hoping for a Dubois win though, so pretty )

Kirilenko is the nicest Russian out there. Not as hot as Sharapova, but she's cute and friendly.

Anyone went to the tourney? I was there monday and yesterday (as a photographer) and I can say that Sharapova is a biatch to her fans. Ivanovic, despite being #1 is very nice. Always has a smile on her face. Jankovic looks friendly, but she's ugly as hell if you ask me. Dubois, Pascek, Chakvedatze, Kuznetsova and all the Asians out there are very cool too.

Safina, Vaidisova and Sharapova get thumbs down.

I'm here hoping for a Sharapova / Ivanovic final, like 99% of the people in here.

I'm hoping for Ana/Jelena personally. Anna would work too, but it sucks that Aga isn't here.

Chan looked great at times tonight, and she is only 18. Look out for her, in singles and doubles (Amazing volleys tonight, a rarity on the WTA). Cibulkova looked solid too, pretty much no mistakes at all. And lol... I wish good luck to Dementieva yesterday, and what happened?

I don't mind Cibulkova beating Dementieva (Afinogenov's girl) at all. She looks better than Elena D IMO

Bah, I personally don't care that much about looks in tennis, but if we go there... I thought Elena was absolutely gorgeous monday when she was signing autographs. I seriously almost went gaga on the spot. I was way too far to compare Cibulkova to her so I won't go there.

Mostly I like her play, but she wasn only okay tonight. Her serve is brutal, but that was too brutal for a top-5 player. Though Cibulkova deserved that win with the battle she put up. She returned so many hits that IMO were sure-fire winners.

Great match, probably the best so far. It's a shame it didn't went on longer.

Cibulkova is THE next thing on the WTA, mark my words. Although I missed the match vs Dementieva (was at the Coldplay show), I watched her LIVE at the BNC court monday destroying her opponent in the 1st round. She can hit the ball very hard with consistency and has a very good serve, and she's only 5'3" She can finish this season top 20 and top 10 next year IMO.

Anybody watching it can give some details on how it's going. At work right now, seems Dubois had a fine start!

Dubois starts very well, leading 3-0. Kirilenko seems a little nervous.

Dubois is very good, she hits it hard. She can easily go far in this tournament if she gets help from Wozniak tonight.

EDIT: Dubois just won the first set 6-2

Yup, she hits the ball very well today and Kirilenko seems very shaky. Let see if Dubois can keep that pace.

Kirilenko just pull out the shot of the tournament, à la Agassi. I think she's back.

Is Dubois still bouncing that ball like 15 times before she serves?
