What a terrific interview. I'm genuinely impressed with how level-headed and grounded he is, for such a young guy. Whereas some of our young players, in the past, have whined when forced to earn their icetime, Radulov seems to be taking it in stride. I'm also touched by his stark defense of Nashville as a hockey town.

I laughed when he said, "If they're more comfortable calling me Redyouloff, then let them call me Redyouloff"

Great read.

Great stuff, I loved reading it. Especially since so many people on HF were talking smack about Radulov saying his ego was huge and that he'd make a fool of himself if/when he made it to the NHL.

My fav quote from the article is
Quote:
Do you seriously think that you are not good enough yet for the national team?
A. Radulov: Absolutely seriously. I have a long way to grow to reach national team’s level.

What a great kid! You can see his personality through his words in the interview.

I know this was originally posted in Jan, but I just found it now. What a great read and Radulov comes off as such a humble person who wants to work harder and improve.

I like how he understands that scoring 150+ pts in the CHL doesn't mean anything when you get to the NHL.

What a great article. I love seeing a young player thirsty for more. Not "I'm here, where's my paycheck."

He's going to be amazing.

Man, did we hit the jackpot with this guy.

He was in Dicks Sporting Goods a few months ago, and I had my wife track him down with a puck and ask for an autograph. I'm too cool to ask for one, but I made her go, and he was nice enough to sign it for her.

Unfortunately, all she had was a yellow sharpie, so the only way to actually see the signature is to hold it up to the light.

I don't think you've got too much to complain about there. My would would never go ask for an autograph for me. I'm still working on that.

Ha, this thread make me laugh now...well, kind of a sad/angry laugh, but a laugh nonetheless.
