Good Ole Boys back in Montreal for season 2 in the Nationwide series at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve this Saturday at 3pm.

Looks like Carpentier gave up his ride in the "A" Circuit at Pocono this weekend for this race & will be driving the No. 9 Dodge for Gillett Evernham Motorsports, I'm guessing we will see that familiar Habs logo on that car again this year. Since Montreal Canadiens owner George Gillett Jr. is the majority owner of Carpentier's team.

Also Jacques Villeneuve seems to have found a ride on the # 32 Toyota Camry.

For those interested...

Just noticed in the paper that RDS is televising the qualifying this aft from 2-4pm.

Petty story about Jacques Villenueve going on today. His Bar "Newtown" is above Ziggy's Pub on Crescent Street. Apparently Ziggy's had a mural of GG's Car #9(I thought this was Montreal's Nascar) painted on the front of the bar for the last month & Jacques repeatedly asked them to remove it even going the legal route, but it was there legally.

This morning someone had completely painted out the entire mural....

Go Figure?

Worst. Sport. Ever.

Actually it's not even a sport, it's a hobby.

Worst. Hobby. Ever.

And the team aspect is more important than you may think...

But that requires a little thought before forming an opinion.

Sean you don't understand, it really is quite complicated....

First off its and oval; not a circle
Secondly they drive clockwise so they all make right turns all day long....

Then the next week they drive counter-clockwise around the circle so they can make left turns all day long.

It might be too complex for some minds...
