Eric Himelfarb

I understand that Eric Himelfarb is a 20 year old playing junior in the OHL. For those of you that are familiar with him, given his talent level and Montreal's organizational needs, where does he likely go next year?

I didn't think Ottawa signed him to a contract, merely a try-out contract which wasn't extended.

If I'm not wrong on this, then I'd expect Himelfarb to get another try-out contract over the summer and be an AHL filler or top-end ECHLer next season.

IMHO Himelfarb is ECHL bound.

Tampa's farm team will be looking for some fillers next season. I wouldn't doubt he atleast gets a look.

No doubt...

The player Im anticipating the most for a call up to the AHL next year is Corey Locke... He could be AHL, but he caould just as easily be ECHL as well...
He's definately got the talent to put goals in the net... 93 points (for 41 goals and 52 assists) in 49 games... good for #1 in the OHL again, and this years version of the 67's are not nearly as good as last year... When Kilrea was asked about rumours of dealing Locke to a contender for a good pick or 2, He said he would never trade Corey Locke... Because he is just that damn good

Here's to hoping he makes the grade someday, cause he'd be a good fit if he can take his offensive vision to the next level... his 41 goals I think leads the OHL and he certainly is no shrinking violet...

What position does Locke play? Does he play center?
