Palffy has 172 goals over than span and isn't on the list.

Mogilny has 143 and isn't there either.

Bure would be #1 if he wouldn't have missed so many games.

1998-99 Ottawa Senators NHL 60 15 15 30
1999-00 Ottawa Senators NHL 78 29 27 56
2000-01 Ottawa Senators NHL 81 32 43 75
2001-02 Ottawa Senators NHL 80 31 35 66
2002-03 Ottawa Senators NHL 80 45 35 80
2003-04 Ottawa Senators NHL 59 26 37 63
NHL Totals 445 178 193 370

That's 370 points with while the list says he has 178

Joe Thornton

1998-99 Boston Bruins NHL 81 16 25 41 69
1999-00 Boston Bruins NHL 81 23 37 60
2000-01 Boston Bruins NHL 72 37 34 71
2001-02 Boston Bruins NHL 66 22 46 68
2002-03 Boston Bruins NHL 77 36 65 101
2003-04 Boston Bruins NHL 58 16 43 59
NHL Totals 490 153 254 400 579

That's 400 points while the list has him at 150,

I'm sure all the other guys are higher as well.
Wow.

I feel embarrassed FOR you.

Miro Satan is a premier scorer in the league, anyone want to debate that?
He's sandwiched between the likes of Tkachuk, Hejduk, Bondra and Shanahan.

Miro is vastly underrated when it comes to production IMO.

Opps, yeah I realized I was wrong and quickly deleted it but you just had to quote me on it, didn't you

Maybe the title should be more specific though and say goal scoring because when a poor guy like me see's the top scorers, I automatically think points.

But oh well, I'd like to say that, that's the first dumb thing I've done but unfortunately it's not and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Pretty sure they are going with goals in there since 226 points wouldn't really be that great.

the guy who made the list I think was just thinking of all the players that he could and then adding up their goals, so it's not comprehensive...I think he's trying to update it. I can't vouch for the accuracy of his calculations

Jagr has way, way more points than that. he's likely over 500, maybe even over 600.

Yeah, I came up with 557 points since that season. Not bad for a guy thats dogged quite a bit on here. Even when his heads not in the game totally, he's still putting up the points quietly.

You have to be able to put two and two together in order to properly interpret the results.

Elias suprised me the most. I guess it's because I don't follow eastern teams that much.

Thats a great point and one thats not easily discernable in the original post. Two of his seasons Bure only played 11 and 12 games and this season he only played in 39 before his knee sidelined him. Pretty impressive that Bure did this in a total of 274 games. For comparisons sake, Jagr finished first playing in 425 games. A 43 goal difference with Jagr having 151 more games then Bure did over the same span of time. Imagine what kind of crazy stats Jagr could have put up had he not had so many nights where he shut himself down before the game began mentally though.

It's crazy to think how much Bure could have scored. Say 60 goals * 6 season = 360 goals.

In addition to Mogilny and Palffy, Fedorov, Demitra, Robitaille, Yashin, Sykora, and probably a couple others should be added.

98 - 01 jagr was amazing and dominant. it's just the last couple of years he's gone from easily the best player in the league to "one of the stars".
