So basically Addiction was full of **** and wasn't even listening to the "Fan"990 ( ). He saw the post on hockeybuzz and thought he would be cool and post it like his own.

They would have to add a nice player in return as well, that player I'm thinking would be Cam Barker.

Send Lang and Barker/Skille for Dandenault and you have a deal.

Lang - $4,000,000
Barker - $2,768,587 (not on Hawks cap - minors)

or

Lang - $4,000,000
Skille - $1,275,000 (not on Hawks cap - minors)

for

Dandenault - $1,725,000

This deal knocks $2,275,000 of the Hawks cap hit.

Hawks would more than likely buyout Dandy, similar to the deal the Habs and Hawks swung last summer in Cullimore, Salmelainen for Samsonov.

Hawks will have to give a prize to a team to take away salary, they can't expect someone to take on salary for nothing.
Do we at least get a jar of KY with that?

This is up there with the funniest trade proposals I've ever seen.

Unlike Bulin and (to a lesser degree) Havlat, Lang still has decent value.

You do not want Robert Lang. He's the definition of hollow points. He's adequate-to-poor on faceoffs, he plays with zero grit, he can be physically intimidated, he's turnover prone, and he is a defensive nightmare. He's just a slightly more skilled Jozef Stumpel at this point.

He's actually better at signings than trades.

He was 53% at faceoffs last season, taking more than any other hawk....

As far as Zero Grit and physically intimidated, well at least he learned something while playing for Detroit!

Yeah he's usually on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays around 8 am with the guys on the morning show. Not sure if he's on during the off-season since I don't usually listen to the Team 990 in the summer.

He's been on vacation for weeks...his gig on the team 990 hasn't been heard since probably early July.

This could help the Habs. They have brutal depth at centre. Plekanec/Koivu/Chipchura/Lapierre. I would much rather have Sundin/Antropov/Stajan/Moore

Why is this thread still opened? It's obvious now that these speculations are based on false rumors and information. The blog in question even quoted "HF Boards" as a legitimate source for a supposed press conference today. It's all a big joke.

Thats not Eklund... thats some poster on his message board....

Big Difference.

Its like some random poster coming on here and starting a rumor... and it gets the same credibility.

Its not coming from Eklund, nor from any of the Official Bloggers on his site.

Rumors from a poster on another message board, are not considered a credible source.
