Doesn't seem very professional if the guy writes a whole article about a prospect and does not get his contract status right...

Brock Trotter: "He was a star for the Dauphin Kings of the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League"

Anyone writing about hockey prospects ought to know the Dauphin Kings play in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL).

"The undrafted Beauregard could feel overwhelmed in a room with first-round draft picks and at least one future Hall of Famer, but he feels he belongs."

Who would the future Hall of Famer be??

http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?articleid...e&service=page

How come i had never heard of this guy. Does he play for Hamilton for 08-09? What's his deal? Will he ever make the NHL or is he a lifetime AHLers?

Basically Ripped the QJMHL but never was able to translate his skill in the pro's some were saying he didn't use his body enough , even though the talent was there. He didn't exactly fly under the radar just very slow transition to the pro style , could be a diamon in the ruff , probably an Ahler for life though.

Good article. If he ever makes the Habs, it'd be a great story. I'm pulling for him.

Yeah he seems very intriguing. I hope he make the NHL even as a fourth or third liner. Hope he steps it up.
