Very Cool. Sam, Rob and Marc may be the most talented offensive players on that list, if only because the others are no-namers besides Quincey.

Looking forward to see what kind of points they put up- especially Schremp.

Gagner, Schremp and Pouliot could be the top line if they don't want to play them all as centers.

Pouliot - Gagner - Schremp

Both wingers playing their off wings looking for shots... *drool*

EDIT: and looks like they're reuniting the band on Team Black. Gagner and Kane, Schremp with Bolland and Hunter.

Then again, Team White has Nash - Kelly - Perry as their first line. Deadly.

That's crazy. It's weird to see these off-season tournaments that some of the guys play in - like Hemsky playing in the world inline championships at the end of June or the tournament in Quebec with a lot of our french guys. I'm guessing this means the off-season training in LA with Chad Moreau is finished then?

Hemsky and Visnovsky both played in the World Inline Championships:
Did Hemsky really play D in this tournament????

Hemsky played with his brother Petr (a former London Knight) in this tourny as well.

Pouliot will be playing in both the Quebec Tournament and this one! Good to see him getting a bunch of games in.

It looks like training with Moreau in LA is over for Schremp for the summer. Pretty sure that all of the others are still there. I don't think that Gagner and Pouliot spent much time there this summer.

Awesome to see. It was about this time last year that Sam Gagner caught everyone's attention at the Russian Superseries. It defenitely springboarded him and gave him confidence heading into training camp. Hopefully this tour can do the same kinda thing for his game heading into TC.

So I notice Brandon Prust is on Gagner's team. Wonder how much ice time he will get

I'm excited to see Schremp and see how much his summer training helps his skating game.

Yeah. As far as I know he's always played D when he plays in that tournament. I alllllmost got to a game, but it didn't quite work out with my schedule. Too bad, I think it would have been kind of hilarious to see.

Was looking over some of the German/Austrian rosters - a few familiar names - but was struck by the average age of the teams. This is truly boys vs. men. Lots of long time pros plus a scattering of German National Team players among the teams. Also a few Canadians on most teams, some with NHL experience. Not always recent, though. Jimmy Waite (ERC Ingolstadt) played his first NHL game with Chicago the year before Sam Gagner was born.

Twould be great to get some game reports!

Hemmer playing D? Interesting

Someone should take some random clips of the game hahaha
or tape it if it happens to be on local TV [obviously in Europe but would be nice if Edmonton had a feed]

I think that it will be, this is just the starting ground for this duo. Schremp will probably be in heaven getting to play with someone of Gagner's skill (assuming that they play on the same line). The last guy that he played with that had anywhere near Gagner's skill was Nilsson in '06-07.

Too bad there's no internet PPV of this, I'd definitely be down for watching a few games.

Was wondering how much input/influence Oilers management has into who plays together. The additions of Pouliot and Kemp suggests some discussion going on. Of course, Hunter probably talked to Lowe every day last year asking when he was going to send Gagner back - they're probably best buds now.

It was very odd to see Kemp added IMO. Didn't he sign elsewhere??? Possibly auditioning for overseas teams for next season???

I would like to know how Schremp and Gagner would do as a duo, if they play well enough, I could see a line of Schremp-Gagner-Nilsson having quite the chemistry if given a chance together.

In another twist of fate, ERC Ingolstadt is Allan Rourke's new team.

yeah he played D. in rollerhockey its all about puck control since its 4-on-4 with no offsides or icing. having a talented puck handler/passer on the back end is huge for opening up the court for breaks, carrying the play, etc. even more so than in 5-on-5.

also, remember when we seen Hemsky play D last year in one of the TC scrimmages as a fill-in?
